Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs found his cheerleader no. 1 in girlfriend Nicole Anderson.
“26 is my lucky number 🦁Anderson wrote via Instagram in November 2024, referring to Gibbs’ jersey number.
The real estate agent had started her romance with Gibbs a year earlier and had been a staple at his Lions football games ever since. (Gibbs was drafted by Detroit in April 2023.)
“Today is the last game of the regular season, so. Isabelle (Sewellwho is married to the Lions star Penei Sewell) has a party bus in his house,” Anderson said in January 2025 on TikTok video. “Party buses are fun with all the girls. I’m really excited.”
Arriving at the stadium, Anderson hits the sidelines to give Gibbs a good luck kiss before heading to his seat in the stands. At every match, Anderson rocks custom Gibbs-inspired team merchandise.

They started dating less than a month after Gibbs was drafted by the Lions.
“POV: You planned to stay single, then you accidentally had feelings,” Anderson wrote TikTok May 14 sharing a montage of PDA pictures.
Anderson and Gibbs made their debuts on Instagram for Halloween, in which they coordinated in Spider-Man costumes.
“In every universe,” she said he wrotewhile Gibbs used the caption, “Stings, right?”
The next month, Anderson started sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of her playing days.
“Rookie Summary 💙💙 what a season!!,” gushed Anderson Instagramuploading photos of Gibbs in uniform.
Following Marchthey spent the offseason on a tropical vacation.
They dressed like Shark stories Halloween costumes.
“You’d have to be crazy not to take me back,” Anderson with a caption post that quotes the animated film.
After clinching first place in the NFC Conference, Gibbs and the Lions began their 2024-2025 playoff journey. Meanwhile, Anderson geared up to support her man from the stands.
“How thoughtful. @KendraScott sent me the cutest custom jewelry,” she wrote via Instagram Story on Jan. 18 before the divisional round.
Kendra Scott sent Anderson a gold necklace with a “26” chain in the middle, along with another chain encouragement and two pairs of hoop earrings.
In previous games, Anderson opted for custom gear with Gibbs’ last name, jersey number or on-field photos.
