With so many stylish royals in the world, it’s hard to believe there’s even more royal fashion Our to sit But alas, there’s one British dignitary whose wardrobe we just can’t get enough of these days: Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

Before wedding to Edward in 1999Sophie worked in public relations. Now she and her husband – who share daughter Lady Louise Windsor and son James, Earl of Wessex – spend most of their time representing the royal family at public events, while also supporting their own charities and organisations. Like princess kate — who is married to Edward’s nephew, prince william — Sophie knows how to dress the part on her many official outings.
Although the former secretary often favors solid ensembles, every now and then she whips out a print that’s to die for. When participating Wimbledon in July 2019, she rocked a blue paisley print dress that was perfect for summer. She also stunned in a floor-length coat dress at the Christmas Eve service in December 2017, which was truly gorgeous. The floral number with shades of pink, blue and purple was an absolute standout, completely different from many of her other holiday looks.
In March 2023, Sophie looked dapper in an ivory skirt as she attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in London. The edgy ensemble featured a waist-length jacket and flared skirt, which the Brit teamed with a round fascinator and pointed-toe pumps.
Sophie also excelled with her brother-in-law King Charles III‘with coronation in May 2023. She looked gorgeous at the ceremony in a cream gown by Suzannah London under a Royal Victoria Order Mantle.
