The Fashion political correspondent with X during the second presidential inauguration Donald Trump on Monday, January 20 and he asked the question“True or False: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O.”
Schlossberg’s post sparked an immediate reaction, with one user X replying: “That’s your grandma!!!!”
“I’ll be honest, I don’t think most people do hot dates involving their grandmothers,” someone else replied, while others wrote: “Are you that desperate to get engaged?” and “It’s not too late to delete it.”

Later on Monday, Schlossberg, 32, admitted to trolling the internet by comparing the former first lady, an enduring style icon, to Usha, who stepped into her new role as second lady when her husband was sworn in as vice president.
“I’m literally a pervert,” he said joked via X. “I called my grandma hot… have I completely lost it? Jesus… this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to find a job.”
Schlossberg is the only grandchild of Kennedy Onassis and the president John F. Kennedyand the youngest son Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg. He stepped into the limelight last year after his kinky videos for TikTok and Instagram went viral. He was hired in July Fashion to cover the 2024 presidential election.

His playful, provocative posts sometimes get him into trouble. Earlier this month, Schlossberg he falsely claimed via X, which he represented Justin Baldoni in his legal battle against Blake Lively.
“I have agreed to take on JUSTIN BALDONI as a client. Why? FAIRNESS,” Schlossberg wrote at the time. “EVERYONE is entitled to a FAIR TRIAL and a STRICT DEFENSE. Justin has NOTHING to hide, Justice will be his revenge. After the BOSTON MASSACRE, John Adams represented the British in court. Same day, different day.”
Although Schlossberg was only joking, fans and the media fell for it, with some sources publishing stories claiming he was actually Baldoni’s lawyer.
Schlossberg passed the bar exam in 2023 and graduated from Harvard Law School a year earlier. He jokingly doubled down on his Baldoni hoax, writing on New Year’s Day: “My personal feelings about Justin Baldoni are irrelevant. Justin is my client, I am his lawyer. even the most heinous individuals have the right to legal counsel for their defense. I’m not a hero. I’m just doing my job.”
