The Price is Right Whistleblower George Gray files for divorce after 5 years

The price is right announcer George Gray and wife Brittney Green have he ended it after five years marriage.

Gray, 57, filed for divorce on Tuesday, Jan. 21, according to court documents obtained by My Weekly. The couple had been married for more than five years before splitting. They share no children. (TMZ was the first to report the news.)

The former talk show host set the couple’s separation date as August 1, 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.

Gray and Green — high school math teacher — tied the knot in April 2019 at The Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Gray’s brother officiated the ceremony.

A year into their marriage, Gray had a near-death experience when he suffered a heart attack in April 2020. “This one (like) hit me with a ton of bricks. It turned out I was 100 percent blocked on the right side of my heart,” Gray said Fun tonight five months after the first operation.

He was rushed to hospital and underwent two emergency surgeries to clear blocked arteries. While preparing for the necessary open-heart surgery, Gray suffered another heart attack.

“So I have stints and a quadruple bypass on top of that,” Gray recalled.

Although Gray underwent several surgeries, his wife was still concerned about his life expectancy.

“After the second (heart attack), I thought he had gone into surgery,” Green said E.T in 2020. “I was like, ‘Something could happen.’

Five months later, Gray returned to work The price is right as an announcer, celebrating a decade on the game show team. Gray was a guest announcer in 2010 before becoming a full-time announcer in 2015 during season 44.

Gray also works as an announcer The price is right at night. He has hosted before The weakest link, The HGTV Showdown and Gimme My Reality Show!

While Green was by Gray’s side in his time of need, their marriage seemingly dwindled. Gray last wrote about his estranged wife on social media in April 2024.

At the time, he shared a video of The The price is right set and gave Grouplove a shout out after attending one of their shows with Green earlier in the month.

“My wife Brittney is a huge @grouplove fan and we saw them at the historic @thewiltern in LA… Amazing!” he gushed over Instagram. “At the pre-concert VIP experience they were asking questions and my wife was asking ‘What’s your favorite game show?’ 😁.”

Gray proceeded to invite the band The price is right ever since they revealed that the game show was at the top of their must-watch list. “You rock,” he concluded.

Green, meanwhile, has a private Instagram account. It still has a reference to Gray’s heart attack and recovery story E.T link in her bio.
