Bucket celebrations as a return of released Palestinian prisoners

Jon Donnison of the BBC observed in Ramallah while the Palestinian prisoners released by Israel were received by crowds that they cheered in the West Bank.

Israel is expected to release up to 200 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, but around 70 will be deported.

Previously, four Israeli hostages returned to Israel after Hamas gave them to the Red Cross in the city of Gaza.

It is the second part of a release of Israeli hostages and an exchange of Palestinian prisoners since the fire was agreed earlier this month.
