“James is trying to get everything back, including (girlfriend) Ally (Lewber),” reports the source exclusively My Weekly. “If he doesn’t stay sober, he knows he has a lot to lose.
According to insiders, Lewber, 28, is keeping her distance for now because Kennedy prefers her sobriety. The source adds that Kennedy “remains sober and receiving treatment. He takes it (very) seriously.”
“Ally is staying away until she gets help, and she’s leaning on friends and family. says the insider. “People gather around her. He has a lot of support.”

Kennedy, 32, he was arrested on Tuesday, December 10 after law enforcement received the call “regarding an argument between a man and a woman” at Kennedy and Lewber’s home. The police treated it as a “domestic incident” and Kennedy was subsequently taken into custody.

A week after his arrest, Kennedy broke his silence and shared his priorities his commitment to being sober.
“I’m determined to make meaningful changes in my life,” the Bravo star shared via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Dec. 17. “I take time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth and being present for my loved ones. Going through challenging times is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with an incredible support system around me.”
