Caroline Kennedy, Robert F Kennedy JR’s cousin, has urged US senators to reject her cousin as the next Secretary of Health and Human Services in the United States in a scathing letter published on Tuesday.
The message, shared through social networks, was sent to the senators before the RFK JR questions by the senators on Wednesday in what could demonstrate a first contentious confirmation audience.
“I met Bobby all my life; we grew up together,” he wrote. “It is not surprising that I keep the birds of prey as pets because he himself is a predator.”

RFK JR has long been a vaccine skeptic and has affirmed without foundation that there is a link between vaccines and autism. However, he has recently said that soaps “is not going to be removed from anyone”, and that his goal is to improve the science in vaccine safety, which he believes has “large deficits.”
