The images of the recently launched body chamber show the rescue of a 100 -year -old woman in an apartment complex for the elderly during the Eaton fire earlier this month.
The deputies of the Department of the Sheriff of Los Angeles (Lasd) Nicholas Martínez and Quinn Alkonis can be seen looking in the complex to residents who need help on January 8. They go door to door, hallway, hitting and asking if someone was left behind.
The flames are so close to the complex that you can see the brightness and the orange smoke from the windows of the units.

She continues her search, saying: “Sheriff department. Anyone inside? You have to evacuate.”
The deputies finally listen to someone and rushed to discover the disoriented woman and struggle to find her departure.

“I congratulate them and all the deputies who responded to forest fires for their unwavering dedication and service to the community, working tirelessly to save lives in the midst of that danger,” said Sheriff Robert Luna in a statement. “His courage and disinterest exemplify the highest standards of application of the law, and deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.”
The Eaton fire began on January 7 and has consumed more than 14,000 acres of land. It is contained in 99%, according to Cal Fire. The cause is under investigation.
