The governor of Kansas, Laura Kelley, also said she was aware of the incident.
“I am aware that an incoming Wichita plane was involved in an accident at the Reagan National Airport,” he said. “I am actively in contact with the authorities. My thoughts are with those involved. I will share more information as available.”
