Returning to Hollywood was not initially part of “SUITS” Gabriel Macht’s plans after moving from the United States to a secret location.
Macht, who will repeat his role as Harvey Specter in three episodes of “Suits La”, shared the reason he decided to join the spin -off.
“I’m just doing it for fans. I’m not doing it for me. I have done it 134 times. I’m not doing it for me,” he told People.

“I had very little interest in returning to work as an actor at this time because I spent a lot of time (doing it) … This was my time to raise my children and do these creative things like Bear Fight,” Macht said, referring to his brand of whiskey
Macht reached an agreement with the creator of “Suits” Aaron Korsh to make an appearance that worked for his young.
“I had very little interest in returning to work as an actor at this time.”
He made sure that “there was a way to do this where it made sense to my family, it made sense for the moment and if there was a way to pass the cane to Stephen (Amell) and the cast in Los Angeles.”
“If I (I could have) something to do with helping to support the program and take it out (the floor), it is almost like (give) a blessing,” Macht suggested.

The “Suits” actor revealed that he has not yet filmed, but plans to travel “to film in a couple of weeks.”
“I have read some scripts and I see what it is … Now I understand how the character of Ted and Harvey connects … I really want to see the dynamics between the two,” he added, referring to the character of Amell. , Ted Black.

Macht starred in “Suits” for nine seasons, from 2011 to 2019.
His comments arrive after he recently shared that he and his family moved from the United States, but secretly kept the location of his new home.

“I am based somewhere in Europe, but I don’t tell anyone where I live because I like to keep that a secret,” he told People. “I got outside the city, And we are exploring the world. “
The actor explained that, before Covid, he and his wife, Jaconda Barrett, wanted to take their children “out of school and home education.” However, when they found “trapped” in Manhattan during the pandemic, he said: “That was not doing for us.”

Macht and Barrett met for the first time in 2000 when they settled in a blind event. The two married a private ceremony in 2004, later welcoming two children: their 17 -year -old daughter Satine, and are Luca, 10.

The cast of “costumes”, including Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres, had a meeting on stage at the Golden Globes in 2024, when they announced the winner of the best category of television drama.
Notably absent from the meeting was Meghan MarkleHe starred in the program until his eighth season and left when he promised Prince Harry.
