“I remember this man on one of our many flights,” wrote McPhee Foster (40 years) on Friday, January 31 through her Instagram stories. “It was a jewel, as you can see. We had a great conversation. ”
She continued, “So warm and fun. Rest in peace, kind man 💔”
Epstein was One of the 67 individuals who died on Wednesday, January 29, air crashes outside the National Airport Ronald Reagan Washington. A commercial aircraft passengers from Wichita, Kansas and a military helicopter collided in the middle of the air before the plane crashed into the Potchác River. There were no survivors.

After enforcement confirmed that Epstein was among the victims, many frequent passengers took on social media to think about his own experience with a late stewardess.
“The stewardess Ian Epstein was not just a member of the crew – he was the heart of every flight that worked,” Jay Robert wrote over Instagram Friday. “Through his quick joke and infectious humor, he changed routine trips into moments of joy, so the passengers smiled even on the most stressed travel days.”
According to Robert, the stewardess was based in Charlotte, known for his announcements “comedy PA”.
“(Brought) evidence of laughter and warmth that brought to the sky.” Now we can all experience the magic it brought to flight, ”Robert wrote in his honor. “Ian was a testimony to what it means to be a great flight attendant service – not only that the passenger feels safe and comfortable, but they make them happy to fly.” At a time when air transport is often with frustration, Ian’s infectious spirit reminded everyone the magic of flight. ”
The American figure skating announced that the American Airlines Flight 5342 carried several of its athletes when he hit the Souchac River. Epstein was between four crew members and 60 passengers who died in a tragic incident, including 14 beautiful youth skaters Traveling houses from a recent training camp for the development of figure skating in Kansas.
“We are destroyed by this unspeakable tragedy and hold the families of victims closely in our hearts,” the organization read. “We will continue to monitor the situation and publish more information as soon as it is available.”
