9-1-1: Lone Star went out with the bang, literally, then Asteroid hit Austin During the final of the series on Monday 3 February. A typical way was 126 the first on the scene – many of their lives in danger.
Warning: Spoilers below from season 5, episode 12 of 9-1-1: Lone Star.
The final of the series began an hour before the asteroid was set to touch in Austin as a professor at Travis State University revealed that college has its own nuclear reactor.
When the scientist learned of the upcoming natural disaster, he was on the other side of the campus and eventually ran to the scientific laboratory to try to hit the “SCram button” and close the nuclear reactor. Unfortunately, he slipped and hit his head for less than two minutes until the asteroid touched down.
Meanwhile, firefighters and rescuers called their loved ones and prepared for the impact on the fire brigade. Although the house was spared asteroid – suffered a massive shock wave and broken glass – the university was not lucky.
Once 9-1-1 Call Center was back in action, Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) And his team headed to the university and found that the asteroid hit the nuclear reactor building and overwhelmed.
Owen then led his team to the scientific building to try to find the SCram button and turn off the reactor before melting. When the tank torn and damaged each member 126, the injured Owen continued to search the SCram button.
Owen with less than a second on the adjustment closed the nuclear reactor and saved Austin from extinction. But he was seriously injured – just like his firefighters. His fate was unknown when the episode flashed for five months.

Owen led the accusation towards the control room at the university, where the cooling tank was about to throw away. As soon as they arrived, the tank was torn and Owen was hit by something that caused his party to bleed. Own still managed to get on the button with one second on the left, but after saving the day fell to the ground. When the rescuer arrived on the scene to check his vital, it didn’t look good.
Five months later, the cameras showed that the lives of all others move forward and indicate that Owen could die in a number of duties. After the new captain was appointed for 126, the audience learned that Owen was alive and well and lives in New York. He accepted the work as the head of the department and returns to the merger of the city in which he began.
During the season 5, episodes 11, Tommy (Gina Torres) She learned that her cancer was getting worse and she was warned that she had very little time for life. She began to see her late husband, Charles (Derek Webster) As if he were there to lead her to heaven. While she seemed to sleep at the end of this episode, she woke up to the Asteroid boom during Monday’s episode.
Tommy decided to help her team and people in Austin, although he felt so sick. She managed to perform cranioscopy in the field to help Dr. Wake up Chalmers long enough to tell Owen to find the Scram button. Tommy then had an episode and became unable to help further.
When the cameras lifted back, Tommy found that her tumors were gone and experimental treatment worked. She is without cancer and she was able to report to work that day.
Before the finals, tk (Ronen Rubinstein) and his husband, Carlos (Rafael L. Silva), found that because of their dangerous professions were not approved to become guards Tk is a little brotherJonah. Before hitting the asteroid, however, TK decided on a new plan that promised to tell Carlos about it as soon as it was alive.
TK survived, like Carlos, and a couple officially accepted Jonah as his son. (TK, the stepfather and the true father of Jonah are in prison for tax fraud. When TK returns to Firehouse – for the oath of the new captain – Facetime Owen and revealed that they are still in contact.
JUDD (Jim Parrack) took the lead during the nuclear frightened after he and the rest of 126 injured. While Owen left to turn off the reactor, Judd tried to keep his friends alive. “Do it for the people you love.” I love each of you. I love you more than I love my own brothers. Hold on, ”he said, inspiring them to fight.
Five months later, Judd went to Tommy and was the first to congratulate her to be in remission. Then he went to the fire house and was appointed new captain 126 – which is appropriate because it is the only one of the original group that is alive (its original crew died during the premiere episode leading to Owen’s arrival in Texas). Judd’s daughter, Charlie, introduced his new badgeAnd everyone except Owen was there to celebrate.
Marjan (Natacha caram) married with Joe (John Clarence Stewart) During the last season and everyone was in participation. After an injury during the explosion of the Marjan tank, he admitted that she felt “so cold”. She survived the explosion and her new husband was also safe from the asteroid.
During the last moments of the episode Marjan revealed that she was pregnant with her first child and would not plan to stop being a fireman as soon as his mom.
Mateo (Julian WorksIt seemed that he was most injured in the explosion and told his family firefighter: “I don’t know how long” I can hold. As Owen stopped the exploding of a nuclear reactor, Mateo was the first person to tell the healthcare professionals to find him.
After overcoming his injury, Mateo had to face the judges for his possible deportation. (At the beginning of the Mateo season, Mateo struck a secret police officer and was arrested.) Mateo defended himself and pointed to the service of Austin and America. Although he told the judge to “kiss my ass,” unless she thought his work he was talking about herself, she approved his request to become a citizen and was able to stay at 126.
Paul (Brian Michael Smith) became a mentor of a young child named Max (Miles McKenna) During the second-last episode of the series. When Max arrived at Firehouse just before an asteroid strike, Paul became a big brother for him. Max even stayed behind to help with sorting when 126 headed for the university to deal with a nuclear reactor.
Like his colleagues, Paul was injured at the university, but survived.
Carlos was placed in a 9-1-1 call center in front of the asteroid. Helped cover Judd’s son, wyatt (Jackson pace), who was in a wheelchair and could not be caught for covering. During the explosion, no one in the call center was injured, but their communication was eliminated. Carlos continued to help operators 9-1-1 when they navigated all disasters.
After nearby Apocalypse Carlos revealed he was still working as a Texas Ranger. He is still married to TK and raises Jonah together.
Nancy (Brianna Baker) He remained a rescuer’s captain until Tommy appeared in the fire brigade. After her heroic efforts, she helped Tommy of the University.
After a natural disaster, Nancy focused on her friend, Mateo, remained in the ground. At the end of the series they are still together – but they are not engaged because they do not believe in marriage.
