Boxing results: Fisher beats Allen in controversial decision

Hometown advantage?

If there is a rematch between Fisher and Allen, it would be a good idea to stage it on neutral territory. Hearn says he wants the rematch to take place in London, which is Fisher’s hometown. That’s not a good deal for Allen, who is from Yorkshire. That means the crowd would favor Fisher’s A-side, and we could see another controversial decision given solely by home field advantage.
