“Top Gun: Maverick” Star Miles Teller He is detailing the moments before the evacuation of his family during Palisades fire.
During an appearance in “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, the actor explained that before his house in Las Palisadas del Pacífico burned, his grandmother had moved to southern California and lived with him after his grandfather died.
“So, my wife and I woke up, and where we lived in Las Palisades, we were in an elevation. So, as soon as we opened our curtains on the balcony of our main bedroom, we saw our 12 o’clock the infire. And it was very little.

Teller explained that the fire was about 3 miles from his house when first you flames stained.
“And Keleight said: ‘If that fire goes from 12 to three, we are really in trouble and we have to move.’ I was taking care of my grandmother at that time because my grandfather, with whom he was extremely close, he had just died a couple of weeks before.
“I would say that from the moment we woke up and saw it to the mandatory evacuation, I would say that from 90 minutes to two hours. And we are watching it on television as it happens, and people are abandoning the cars.”

Teller explained that his house was not surrounded by any “brush”, only family homes and family businesses.
“The fire scares. I grew up on the east coast and the hurricanes most of the time in Florida. They are usually scared for a week. You have a lot of warning. But for the fire, man, he moved quickly.

“At that time, people are already grabbing their children and running down the street, and it was pure … it was quite chaotic. Absolutely.”

Teller showed his watch during the interview program and explained that, while evacuating, he grabbed his grandfather’s watch.
“One of the articles I took was my grandfather’s watch. I don’t know what camera it is,” Teller said, while pointing his grandfather’s watch on his wrist.
In the beneficial concert of the Foreaid on Thursday, Teller broke his silence after he and his wife, Keleight Teller ,, He lost his home during Palisades fire.

Last month, Keleight turned to Instagram to publish photos of before and after his house, pointing to the legend that he regretted leaving his wedding dress behind when she and the actor evacuated before the flames consumed their property.

“If you are in the Los Angeles area, salt if you can. I wish I had grabbed my wedding dress … I would like to have made very different, but it doesn’t matter, keep sure, go out,” Keleight wrote in part of the time.
Teller joined the stage for a neighbor of his, who shared his personal and moving history on how Palisades’ fire affected him and his family.
