Israel Minister tells the Army to plan that the Palestinians leave Gaza

Israel’s Minister of Defense has told his military to prepare a plan to “allow any Gaza resident to leave it”, in line with the proposal of President Donald Trump so that the United States takes care of the territory and resettlement to The 2.1 million Palestinians there.

Israel Katz said that Gazanes should have “freedom of movement and migration” and that the critical countries of the Israel War with Hamas were “forced” to host them.

Meanwhile, the United States Secretary of State insisted that the resettlement would be temporary during Gaza’s reconstruction, although Trump had said it would be permanent.

Palestinian leaders and Arab states have rejected the plan and said that forced displacement would violate international law.

The UN Secretary General also warned that it is “essential to avoid any form of ethnic cleaning” and emphasized that Gaza would be an integral part of a future Palestinian state.

The Israeli army launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken as hostages.

More than 47,550 people have been killed and 111,600 wounds in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health of the territory.

Most of the population of Gaza has also been displaced several times and it is estimated that almost 70% of its buildings are destroyed or damaged.

Health, water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed and there is a shortage of food, fuel, medicine and refuge.
