Jennifer Lopez serves up a glamorous atmosphere while cooking in high heels

After spending the evening at what we can assume was a formal affair, Lopez retreated to her home in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 8, for an evening of comfort food, as seen in a photo posted via her. Instagram.

She literally sizzled in a black sequin dress and stilettos by Femme LA as she prepared pasta with red sauce. “My favorite thing to come home to is a midnight snack,” she wrote in the caption, along with a pasta emoji.

Indeed, Lopez looked like a literal diamond-drenched snack, which included large earrings and an almost blinding ring on her right hand. She was ready for the camera with a full bang that included a smoky eye and contoured cheekbones, while her hair was styled into voluminous curls.

In another Instagram video which she posted two hours ago, the “Waiting for Tonight” singer could be seen walking down the aisle in the said dress, which featured a voluptuous criss-cross neckline. She then turned a corner to reveal the dress was completely backless, before ending the clip with a coy flip of her hair and a flash of her megawatt smile, all while listening to Brandon O’Neal’s ‘Believe in Yourself’.

The video garnered more than 150,000 likes in just 30 minutes and drew tons of comments from fans praising her for serving up her signature kitchen magic.

“This Sunday we WILL all be HIRED 🔥❤️,” one fan wrote, while another added: “Show them how it’s done. What SERVICES! 🔥.”

Just 72 hours earlier, Lopez took home the “Maverick” award. Unstoppable at the 2024 IndieWire Awards Held on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Los Angeles, the triple threat naturally sported a look-alike shimmering silver dress with towering gold metallic Dolce & Gabbana platforms.

As Lopez revealed Harper’s Bazaar this May, she prefers to spend less time on red carpets and more time in the kitchen: “I love cooking. My kids love to bake. I love hosting at home (for) family and friends… I like people. I don’t like going out.”

In 2022, she spoke with Fashion about why she loves Christmas (“Because it’s so sparkly”) and how cooking is the holiday tradition that she, her, and her family look forward to the most. (Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Emma and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.)

“We cook the same meal every year, which I love because I look forward to it all year,” she told the publication. “Pasteles and arroz con gandules and pernil and all such specialties.”

And judging by her latest Instagram, she’s not waiting to spice things up in the kitchen until then.
