The incident occurred after several small drones, which were part of a Christmas show, collided and fell into the crowd on Saturday, December 21, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
In a statement, Sky Elements Drones said it is working with the FAA and Orlando, Florida, city officials to “determine the cause and are committed to establishing a clear picture of what occurred.”
The second drone performance that night was cancelled. The FAA has opened an investigation.
