President Donald Trump described the Department of Education as a “scam work”, after saying that he saw a report that the nation occupies the 40th position throughout the world in education, but the number one in cost per student.
Trump spoke with journalists on Wednesday afternoon from the Oval office when asked how soon he wanted the Department of Education (DOE) to be closed.
“Oh, I would like to close immediately. Look at the Department of Education. It’s a great scam job,” he replied. “They classified the main countries of the world. We are in the number 40 position, but we are in number 1 position in 1 department: Cost per student. Then, we spend more for a student than any other country in the world, but we ” re classified number 40. “
Trump said that the last time he observed where the United States was classified in education, he held the 38th position, but then looked two days ago, and the country had fallen to number 40.

He even pointed out that China had classified among the top five.
“As great as it is, it is classified among the top five, and that is our … main competitor,” Trump said. “So, if we are in the 40th position, that means something is really bad.”
The president has ordered the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), the department led by Elon Musk, which seeks ways to reduce waste expenditure, and the DOE made the cutting block this week.

In fact, Dege announced on Monday that $ 881 million were being reduced in relation to 89 DOE contracts.
Of those $ 881 million, Dege identified $ 101 million that were being used for the training of DEI, including the teaching of educators to “help students understand/interrogate the complex stories involved in oppression, and help students to recognize areas of privilege and power in an individually and collectively.
“His tax dollars were spent on this,” Musk wrote about the DOE expense.
Last month, Trump signed two executive orders on education: one to eliminate federal funds from K-12 schools that teach critical theory of the race (CRT), and another to support the choice of school.

The teaching of CRT and other controversial content in schools, has caused a violent reaction of parents at the meetings of the school board throughout the country in recent years. During his presidential campaign, Trump promised to reduce federal funds for schools that promote CRT, transgender ideology and “any other racial, sexual or political inappropriate content for our children.”
Trump has signed a large number of executive orders aimed at federal funds for schools as the test scores continue to decrease, according to the Nation’s qualifications ballot.

According to reports, Trump administration officials are also wearing a plan to dismantle the United States Department of Education, according to a Wall Street Journal Report Posted last week.
