Peruvian police in the Capybara team causes Valentín’s drug drug to search

Police Codycam’s footage shows the moment when the officers used a Capybara costume to carry out a drug raid in the capital of Peru Lima.

The Green Squadron Police Group (Green Squad) is a specialized unit of the Peruvian National Police that often disguise its agents on costumes during festivities such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.

The Head of the Unit, Colonel Pedro Rojas, said: “On this occasion, Valentine’s Day, Lovers’ Day, we seek to camouflage ourselves with the character of Capybara.”

Peruvian police have previously dressed its officers as Marvel Spiderman, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow characters to carry out a drug raid.
