The accuser leaves a demand for rape against Jay-Z and are combs

A demand against Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z, who alleged the violation of a 13-year-old girl in 2000, has been dismissed, according to a legal presentation presented on Friday in New York.

The lawyer who represents the anonymous plaintiff, called Jane Doe, voluntarily withdrew the case, as shown in the judicial records.

The presentation was presented by the lawyer Tony Buzbee, who represents dozens of plaintiffs in demands that allege inappropriate sexual behavior against Mr. Combs.

The presentations establish that the plaintiff “therefore notifies that the … Action is voluntarily dismissed, with prejudice.”

Because the dismissal is with prejudice, the demand cannot be reflected again in its current form.

Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z, whose legal name is Shawn Carter, issued a statement signed by him, referring to dismissal as a “victory.”

“The frivolous, fictitious and frightening accusations have been dismissed,” he wrote.

“This civil demand was without merit and was never going anywhere. The fictitious story they created was ridiculous, if not because of the severity of the statements.”

“The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have suffered can never be fired,” said the rapper, who is married to singer Beyoncé.

He continued: “The courts must protect the innocents from being accused without a pinch of evidence. That the truth prevails for all victims and the defendants falsely equally.”

Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, emphasized a separate statement that the case “should never have been brought.”

“When stopping at the atrocious and false accusations, Jay has done what few can: he retreated, he never settled, he never paid 1 red cent, triumphed and cleared his name,” he told the BBC statement in a statement.

Jane Doe initially filed the lawsuit against Mr. Combs in October before adding the name of Jay-Z in December. She claimed that both men assaulted her in 2000 after an MTV Video Music Awards party.

Jay-Z strongly denied the accusations, claiming that his lawyer had been sent “blackmail” in an attempt to force an agreement. He said the attempt had the “opposite effect” and, on the other hand, motivated him to publicly challenge the accusations.

In December, Jane Doe gave an interview that raised questions about her credibility. She admitted that “not all facts are clear” and declared: “I have made some mistakes. He may have made a mistake when identifying me.”

Last month, Jay-Z formally requested the court to dismiss the claimciting inconsistencies in the accuser’s account. The application was approved by the United States District Judge, Analisa Torres, which led to the dismissal of the lawsuit.

While Jay-Z no longer faces legal actions in this case, combs continues to fight against three dozen civil costumes.

In response to Friday’s dismissal, Mr. Comink’s legal team issued a statement declaring his innocence.

“For months, we have seen a case after a case presented by people who hide behind anonymity, driven by a more focused on the holders of the media than legal merit. Like this statement, the others will fall apart because they don’t There is truth for them. ” The statement says.

He added: “This is only the first of many who will not remain in a court of justice.”

Mr. combs has been carried out at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, since September 2024 for federal criminal charges related to success and sexual trafficking.

He has been denied the bond three times and will remain in custody until his trial on May 5, 2025.
