Davis stops Berinchyk, Targets Loma & Tank

Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 kos) lost his moment in the center of attention on Friday night calling two champions who will not fight against him, Gervonta Davis and Vasily Lomachenko, after his fourth round victory over the light champion of the OMB, Denys Berinchyk (19-1, 9 kos) in the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City.

Keyshawn will not get those fighters for three reasons:

  1. Too great for the 135 -pound division: Keyshawn using bully tactics
  2. Not popular: there are no names in Keyshawn’s curriculum
  3. I would expect to be a A. side that will not fly

Is your size size?

What everyone saw tonight was Keyshawn entering the ring as a medium weight and using that size advantage over the light -sized light -sized benchyk to defeat it. If the boxing had his performance together, Davis would not have allowed him to enter the ring much larger than Berinchyk. There should have been a rehydration rule with weight control tonight to make the fair fight.

There is nothing wrong with a fighter who wants balloon until 160, as long as they compete against other medium weights instead of fighting light weights. Tank Davis and Lomachenko are not going to fight a light weight of the size of Keyshawn Davis. That is not happening. Then, he will have to fight someone a little more realistic, as one of these fighters, if he insists on facing a light weight:

– Andy Cruz
– Edwin de los Santos
– Ernesto Mercado
– Raymond Muratalla
– Shakur Stevenson
– Abdullah Mason
– Frank Martin

It is possible that these combatants do not give Keyshawn the day of payment that he is looking for, but at least he can obtain some credible names in his curriculum. He has not yet fought against anyone who had the opportunity to overcome him.

Some of those guys would be willing to fight Keyshawn as long as it makes sense, but I doubt that he fights with any of those guys.

“Anyone who has the (courage) to fight me. There are two 135 divisions champions that I would love to fight. If they got the guts to enter the ring with ‘The businessman’, tell them to send me a contract, or I will send them one, “Keyshawn Davis said to Upper range boxing After his victory over Denys Berinchyk on Friday night at Madison Square Garden Theater.
