Trends come back on a cycle, but there are certain fads that the stars want to leave behind in 2024.
“The cat suit is here to stay,” RHONY alum Kelly Bensimon he said My Weekly exclusively at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball in New York on December 13. “I just saw it on Alix Earle and I was like, ‘I like that.'”
Bensimon, 56, continued: “I wore it in the early 90s. I mean, I’m a little older than Alix. I don’t know if I’ll have a Catwoman costume.’
The catsuit isn’t the only trend making a comeback in pop culture. Skinny and low-waisted jeans caused quite a stir, with Bensimon, Bachelor Nation’s Ashley Iaconetti and RHOC alum Meghan King all share conflicting opinions on controversial denim cuts.

You know, I love skinny jeans. I’ve always loved skinny jeans. My daughters say, “Mom, it’s never coming back.” You know, I actually said, I was like, “Bringing back those skinny jeans is like doing The Real Housewives of New York thing.” And I love skinny jeans and I want them to be a thing, they’re just not a thing. But hopefully they’ll be a thing. So in the spirit of the skinny jean, let’s bring Real Housewives to the real deal and we’ll be smoking in 2025.
I mean, honestly, skinny jeans are the only jeans that make you look like a smoke show. It’s cute to wear bigger jeans, but if you want to be a smoker girl, you wear skinny jeans or leggings. Sorry, I like leggings too.
It’s not so much a 2024 trend that I want to leave behind, but I just want to make sure that skinny jeans never come back. I really, really hate them. I hated them when they were popular for about 15 years and I know there are some people trying to get them to come back. No. Please no.
Low rise jeans, I tried them on. And to my bad luck, I tried them two months after giving birth and regretted it immediately. And I think even if I wasn’t two months postpartum I would be like this, absolutely not.
Trends to leave behind in 2024, I’d say, I don’t know, low waist jeans. I want them high. It belongs there.
Any trends I want to leave behind? Just hating people for no reason. If it doesn’t directly affect your life, don’t say anything about it. I think it’s annoying. Be nice. It’s not that hard. God.
Honestly, what I’m trying to get away from is that when people drive in the left lane, it’s the fast lane. Go fast, and if you’re not going fast, move! do you know I feel like that’s proper etiquette. I would like to leave this behind.
Date guys who are uglier than you. That’s a trend I’d like to leave behind.
