Saturday Night Live has featured several famous hosts during its nearly 50-year run, but only a select few have joined the prestigious Five-Timers club.
Tom Hanks became the first official member of the club when it was founded in 1990, although several stars such as Steve Martin, Danny DeVito, Drew Barrymore, Justin Timberlake and Melissa McCarthy have everyone hosted SNL five or more times over the years. Upon reaching a fun milestone, each member is gifted with the club’s iconic velvet robe.
While this honor is usually given to the show’s hosts, several musical guests have also appeared on the NBC sketch series five or more times, including Pavel Simon and Jack White.
Emma Stone became a show youngest (at 35) Five-Timer Club launched in December 2023. “Emma, this is your day. You are part of it SNL history,” fellow member Candice Bergen joked creating a special portrait.
