More than 30 people have been killed in a bus accident on a mountain road in Bolivia, according to the police.
The driver probably lost control of the vehicle, which makes almost 800 meters (2625 feet) immerse in the southwest district of Yocalla, an officer said.
Fourteen were also injured, including four children, said a local hospital officer in a video.
Bolivia has notoriously dangerous paths, particularly in mountainous areas.
The accident occurred between the cities of Potosi and Oruro, police said.
The authorities believe that the accident could have been caused by speeding, and the driver “incapable” to control the bus, said Victor Benavides Colonel to the AFP news agency.
It is believed that this is the most serious road accident reported in the South American country so far this year.
The local news media reported that several of the injured are in a serious condition.
Mortal road accidents are common in Bolivia.
Last month, 19 people were killed when another bus left a road, also near Potosi.
Traffic accidents kill an average of 1,400 people each year in the country of approximately 12 million inhabitants, according to government data.
