In a lawsuit filed on Monday, multiple taxpayers and union groups alleged Elon Musk Government Efficiency Department (Doge) violated multiple laws in his search to dig up and eliminate wasteful government spending.
The groups claim that Dege launched a “radical campaign to access highly sensitive information systems” and violated the laws that limit the Executive Power, protect public officials and protect citizens’ data held by the Government.
The agency, created by an executive order earlier this year, remains a temporary organization within the White House and has the task of optimizing the federal government, rationalizing operations and Cutting expenditure In just 18 months.

Doge obtains a large court gain, allowed access data to 3 federal agencies
The groups, the Tum -Daper Rights Center, Main Street Alliance, the National Federation of Federal Employees and the Communications Workers of America, are looking for a temporary restriction order to maintain the status quo until the court has the opportunity to review Doge and Musk actions.
After the review, the plaintiffs asked the court to declare Doge’s access illegal, stop their use of the IRS systems, order that the information obtained is illegally eliminated and establishes new security protections.
