During his rise to fame Denise Richards He avoided being “in the blacklist” in Hollywood as he stayed quiet about an alleged claim of sexual harassment.
The 54 -year -old reality star confessed that there was a point in his early career when he considered to file a demand for sexual harassment, but was pressed to remain silent.
“They told me that I would be on the blacklist,” Richards shared with People.

“I felt very vulnerable. This was the career I wanted to do. To tell me that they will never work in an industry that you are passionate about, it is something difficult.”
While Richards has created a name in the last three decades in Hollywood, the actress said she is “amazed” about the shocking changes in the industry, especially during the #Metoo movement.
“They told me that I would be on the blacklist. I felt very vulnerable.”
“I definitely needed to have a change, and not only in the entertainment industry,” he said. “I’m glad that women can have more voice and be more protected.”

“If that happened at this age, I would handle it differently, but it was very young and unknown and (alone) starting.”

Richards reflected on his career in Hollywood as he saw the industry through the lens of his three daughters: Sami, 20, Ans Lola, 19, whom he shares with the ex -husband Charlie Sheen. Richards adopted his daughter Eloise in 2011.

“I would like to have the confidence they have, because I could never stand out in the way they do,” he explained.
“I was a pleasure for people when I started my career,” he continued. “And I love that my girls, so at the beginning of their career, that they are capable of (speaking). Sometimes I say, ‘you might want to attenuate’, but for the most part I am glad they can say (what he has in mind) .
Richards previously spoke about how he fought to “balance” life as the mother of three children in Hollywood.

“I am trying to balance everything,” Richards said in the program trailer while mentioning some of his roles in life, including the wife and mother to three daughters. Richards married the husband Aaron Phyphers in 2018. He was previously married to actress Nicollete Sheridan.
