The dramatic video shows the moment a deviant American Airlines flight He was escorted by Italian combat planes due to a “security concern.”
An airline spokesman told Fox News Digital that AA Flight 292 “he segated safely in Rome on Sunday afternoon after he deviated due to a security concern, which he later proved to be not recognizable.”
The video shows that the plane is escorted by Italian Air Force planes before landing in Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome.
Flight 292 had left the John F. Kennedy International Airport of New York City on his way to New Delhi, India, when he was diverted.

The airline did not specify what the cause of security concern was, but said, For Delhi airport (DEL) Protocol, an inspection was required before landing in Del.
The plane was inspected by the police in Rome and cleared.
Almost 200 people and 15 crew members were aboard the flight.

Neeraj Chopra, one of the passengers on the flight, told the AP that the captain alerted the passengers that the plane needed to turn approximately three hours before they were supposed to be supposed to New Dehli Due to a change in “security status.”

“The flight will remain in Rome during the night to allow the rest of the crew required before continuing to Delhi as soon as possible,” said the airline.
