FBI Director Kash Patel, who has just sworn on Friday, issued a position on Monday by declaring that he is “proud to welcome Dan Bongino as the next deputy director of the FBI.”
“His leadership, integrity and deep commitment to justice make him the ideal option to help lead the FBI in this critical moment. He is a police officer,” Patel said about Bongino. “Welcome on board, Dan. The country needs strong leadership, and I know it will serve with honor and dedication.”
Bongino, who previously served in the New York City Police Department and as a secret service agent, is a successful conservative commentator who houses “The Dan Bongino Show”.

I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and sacrifice of men and women in these agencies that serve with integrity and honor, “he said, according to a publication in X.
“There are people dedicated in the FBI who seriously lend their oath to the Constitution. They deserve a leadership that supports them, protect their mission and ensure that they can do their job,” Bongino said.

“Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our country, has just been appointed the next deputy director of the FBI, by the man who will be the best director, Kash Patel,” Trump said in the position.
Bongino “is now one of the most successful podcasters in the country, something that is arranged and prepared to resign to serve,” Trump said.

The president of the Caucus of the House of Representatives, Andy Harris, R-MD., Also congratulated Bongino, saying that “he will bring leadership, responsibility and restored confidence to the FBI.”
While most Republicans voted to confirm Patel last week, two Republican senators – Lisa Murkowski from Alaska and Susan Collins de Maine – Voted against confirmation.
