The actor (48) gushed over his wife Instagram story posted on Thursday, December 26th.
“I’m the luckiest husband alive,” Lawrence wrote while sharing a fan’s Instagram story, which included a picture of Cope in the lead role. Take Christmas. (Lawrence stands with Cope in the newly released Christmas movie.)
Lawrence added the hashtag: “Mywifeisbeautiful.”
On the same day, Lawrence and Cope, 37, shared a series of photos of themselves looking lovey-dovey on the beach via joint Instagram post.
“‘Keep room in your heart for the unimaginable.’ – Mary Oliver,” the post captioned.
Lawrence doubled down on his earlier sentiment, commenting on the post: “I’m the luckiest man alive 🤍✨”
Pair confirmed that they had reconciled through posts shared via social media in December 2024 – five months after Cope filed for divorce by Lawrence. Our confirmed earlier this month that Cope has since she filed a motion to dismiss her divorce petition.
Lawrence shared two romantic photos of himself and his estranged wife promoting their film Take Christmas via Instagram on Wednesday, December 4. One photo showed the two kissing.
“I’m beyond grateful 🤍 I’m unblessed🤍 I’m a galaxy beyond grateful 🤍 My heart is so full ❤️,” Lawrence captioned the pictures.

My Weekly confirmed that Cope filed to end her marriage to Lawrence on Wednesday, August 21, two months after their reported date of separation. According to court documents obtained Our at the time, Cope filed for sole physical custody of their daughter, Dylan, who will be 2 in January, and said she would approve Lawrence staying with Dylan up to two nights a week after she turned 3. Cope also blocked the court’s ability to award spousal support.
However, on October 8, Cope amended her divorce petition and asked the court for joint legal custody, although she still sought sole physical custody of Dylan.
In addition to Dylan, Lawrence also shares daughters Charleston (18) and Liberty (14) with his ex-wife. Chandie Yawn-Nelson. Lawrence and Yawn-Nelson were married from 2002 to 2020.
Lawrence moved on with Cope, whom he met on the set of Lifetime’s My husband’s secret brother and finally tied the knot in Temecula, California in 2022. Their split was made public in August when Cope filed for divorce.

Lawrence was accused of infidelity with his Bought for Christmas costar Melina Alveswho both denied.
In an Instagram statement shared via Instagram, Joey cited the breakdown of his marriage to Cope, who allegedly refused to accept Charleston and Liberty. Cope has denied the claim.
Lawrence also shared during an August episode of his “Brotherly Love” podcast that he believed he moved too quickly from Yawn-Nelson to Cope, which could have contributed to the breakup.
“I loved the idea of relationships so much that even in my weakened state I fell into a committed relationship (but) I wasn’t ready for it,” Joey explained. “Ideology doesn’t fit there and that’s why I gave up and compromised my personal beliefs that I’ve lived my whole life by.”
