Aerial images capture the scale and destruction of a forest fire that burns in northern Japan. Until Thursday, the fire has destroyed more than 80 buildings and forced some 2,000 residents to evacuate Ofunato, in the IWate prefecture. Military helicopters have been deployed to help distinguish the fire, authorities say. Local officials blamed the winter unusually dry and strong winds.
