“The Secretary of the Interior, who acts through the Director of the National Parks Service, will organize the size of the figure of President Donald J. Trump in Mount Rushmore National Memorial,” says the text of his proposal.
The four presidents presented at Mount Rushmore include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
“The bold leadership of President Trump and the firm dedication to the greatness of the United States have consolidated their place in history. Mount Rushmore, a timeless symbol of freedom and strength of our nation, deserves to reflect its imposing legacy, a legacy solidified by the powerful beginning of its second mandate,” said Luna, according to a press release.
