“Essentially, we are like a poorly managed business with an unlimited credit line that is outside the rails,” Rogan said.

“Absolutely,” Musk replied.

Musk email last weekend asking federal employees to list their five achievements during the previous week of the work week caused a controversy that was the conversation of news and cable podcasts.

Rogan, who previously said he is not affiliated with any political party, said Musk is doing what he does best.

“And if you were a person like you are the one who enters and takes care of business and straight, that’s exactly what you are doing,” Rogan said.

Rogan saw parallel between Musk’s measures with Doge and his handling of X, previously known as Twitter. In April 2022, Musk became the largest shareholder of X when he bought a 9.2% stake on the social media site.

“I mean, most of the time, I create business from scratch,” Musk said. “As Twitter was a case in which, you know, I bought a company that knew it was a pull of hair.”

Musk also took credit to make Tesla successful.

“Tesla did not exist in any significant way,” Musk said. “There were no employees. JB Straubel joined three other people, but there was no car, there was nothing.”

The company was also without prototype, said the technology tycoon.

“That is a fun narrative, which people like to say that you didn’t even create Tesla,” Rogan said.

Musk said he and the Dux has His work was cut for them.

“As bad as it was Twitter, the federal government is much worse,” Musk said. “Then, you know, in the case of Twitter, it was not a profitable company. It was basically a balance company, but at least it was a balance, and had to approve an audit. The federal government is not equilibrium, it is literally losing $ 2 billion a year, and does not approve its audits, fails its own audits.”
