New York Governor Kathy Hochul now says “will lead the resistance” against the president Donald TrumpJust weeks after telling journalists otherwise.
Hochul said he would “defend himself strongly” during an interview with “NPR morning edition” On Monday, when asked about the congestion price toll of New York City, which the Trump administration moved to the blockade last month.
“We offered an olive branch, (we said) ‘we will work with you in infrastructure. We are going to rebuild the penn station,” said Hochul. “Those areas were a common land. But once you get the first blood over us, we will return strongly. And I will lead the resistance in policies such as you are hurting the New Yorkers directly. This is our decision, not yours.”
Less than two weeks ago, however, the Democratic governor told journalists just the opposite.
