Marc Blucas and wife Ryan Haddons

Blucas, best known for roles in Summer catch, First daughter and slate of Hallmark movies married Haddon in 2009. They have two daughters together. (Haddon too siblings two older children with ex-husband Christian Slater.)
“My family will always be more important to me than my career,” the actor told Wake Forest University graduates. magazine in 2019. “Right now, my kids are at an age where they want to be with me.”
Blucas will even fly home every two weeks from filming to see his loved ones. He and Haddon live with their mixed offspring in a renovated farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania.
“You know what’s amazing, our house was built in 1711, you know, before George Washington was even born. … It’s a way to stay creatively stimulated when I’m not filming and working,” Blucas gushed during a 2016 interview with Hallmark’s. Home and family. “We wanted to be closer to family, so we moved back to the East Coast to be with them. It’s the only place in the United States that has this kind of architecture with old stone barns and old stone houses.”
According to Blucas, real estate has become “projects of a lifetime.”
“We have.” 15 chickens, two rabbits, a dog, cats — wildlife is (off the map),” he added. “We see (fox and deer) all the time. We accommodate them all. In fact, my wife (and I) had to make a new rule. … We were working on the main building and my wife comes home with the chickens and I’m like, ‘Where are we going to put them, honey?'”

Blucas and Haddon tied the knot in July after a year together.
Blucas and Haddon left Los Angeles for Pennsylvania the same year their oldest daughter was born.
“From 25 to 35, it was a great place,” he told Wake Forest’s alumni magazine in 2019. “I was single. It’s the heart of the industry I’ve been in and I needed to learn it and build relationships.”
At the time, he added: “It’s Groundhog Day in LA It’s 70 and it’s perfect all the time, but you can’t pinpoint the time. There is no cycle of life and death. The leaves do not fall from the trees. After a while you blink and five years go by and you don’t even know it because the trees don’t grow.’
Four years after Blucas and Haddon’s daughter was born, she became a big sister. (The couple has not released the names of either of their children.)
“There is nothing better than watching them share new experiences together,” Blucas wrote Instagram in 2017 by sharing a photo of the siblings.

It was in the news in December Haddon’s mother, Daylehe died at the age of 76 after a suspected carbon monoxide leak at the couple’s farm.
“I always believe in the timing of things. There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable,” Haddon wrote via Instagram to her mother, a famous model. “She was a high-hearted spiritual being who valued the development of her soul, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been completed. I respect her. I bow to her. I appreciate all travels and adventures. I saw her being golden and always reaching for the Light in all areas of her life.”
Blucas did not deal with his mother-in-law’s departure right away.
