First in Fox: Text messages between two roommates of the house in Moscow, Idaho, where Four university students They were killed in a domestic invasion stabbing attack have been publicly revealed for the first time in a just unusual judicial presentation.
The roommates, identified in judicial documents only as DM and BF, seem to have been awake and discuss the possibility of a masked intruder approximately five minutes after the attack.
DM has been previously identified as the only ocular witness who saw the intruder, a masked man with “buping eyebrows”, in the house of six bedrooms in King Road. Based on his statements to the Police and the audio of a security chamber next door, it is believed that the attacker left the house shortly after 4:17 AM of November 13, 2022.
The attack left four people dead – Madison Mogen21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

The presentation reveals text messages that DM and BF exchanged between 4:22 and 4:24, as well as texts that DM sent to some of the victims before dawn and again around 10:20 am before text messages, DM tried to call BF and three of the victims. None of his calls was answered.
“No one is responding,” DM wrote to BF, according to the presentation. “I am very confused RN.”
“Kaylee,” DM wrote in another text. “What is happening?”
DM also seemed to refer to the intruder that he later told the police that he found when he looked through the door of his room. She referred to something “like a ski mask almost.”

BF urged her to “run” below. According to other judicial presentations published this week, DM spent the night in BF’s room and an unnamed person called 911 from the BF phone around noon the next day.
At 10:23 am, DM sent a text message to both Mogen and Goncalves. “Please, answer,” he wrote. “Are you up?” Then he called his father around 11:40 am
Prosecutors are asking the court to allow them to present the texts as evidence.

Prosecutors claim that the police found a Ka bar knife pod under the body of Mogen that had DNA that took them to the suspect, Bryan Kohberger, a 30 -year -old doctorate. Student studying Criminology at the nearby Washington State University at the time of crime.
