On Sunday, March 9, Thurston shared a number of Instagram stories in which she revealed that she was preparing to freeze eggs when she was fighting cancer. (Thurston shared her diagnosis of breast cancer in February.)
“One day you think you don’t want children,” she wrote in the first story. “One day you will meet the man of your dreams and do anything to make sure we can start a family in the future.”
Thurston and fiance Jeff Arcuri got engaged In September 2024.
In the second, Thurston shared a video with syringes, medicines and alcohol. The third was an explanation of everything Thurston passed before the eggs. “For those who are not familiar with fertility treatment, there is a typical schedule: 3 pills a day to keep my estrogen down. Shot in my stomach in AM. Two shots in my stomach in PM. ”
Thurston also shared that she would visit the blood collection clinic “every other day” as part of its fertility treatment. Currently, it is in its second week of search process.
“My emotions are crazy,” she wrote. “My sleep/dreams are crazy.” And I’m tired. My stomach is officially painful of needles. ”
The star of reality is preparing for his first egg search this weekend and says he has “the opportunity to do it again for the next two weeks”. She revealed that she also wants to let her body “recover/prepare for any treatment of cancer I find in April.”
Thurston shared her recent diagnosis of cancer in a video published on her stories 15 February. “I had a small lump in my chest around 10’oclock (sic) space,” she said at that time. “I discovered it myself.” I thought it was my period (or) maybe it was muscle pain. In the end, however, this piece never left. ”
She added that once the benign cyst was removed, which felt similar, so “(i) thought it was again.”
“She went to the documentary and thought it wouldn’t be anything,” she remembered. “I was wrong.”
Thurston also noted that the lump was painful, so she didn’t think it was cancer. “(This) probably led to greater doubt and delay in logging out because most (websites) say,” Most of the cancers will not hurt the breast, “she explained.” I thought it was PMS or exercise. And she left, but maybe after 3-4 months when she didn’t leave or improved, I was nervous and saw my doctor. “
The diagnosis came after several biopsies. Thurston said she was planning to undergo chemotherapy and mastectomy.
