Senator Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Lamented the lack of the Democratic Party of a “coordinated response” to President Donald TrumpD during an interview on Sunday with Jonathan Karl of ABC.
“I think that the lack of a coordinated response in the state of the Union was a mistake, and, frankly, the approach of where it should have been, which is about the fact that the president spoke for an hour and 40 minutes and had nothing to say about what he would do to reduce the costs of US families who were watching that long speech, sitting at the kitchen table, sitting that he would offer him to help New home or pay your rent, pay health care, or health care, or the child, or the child, sitting at the kitchen table.
The legislator responded to the criticisms of Senator John Fetterman to the democratic response. Fetterman described it as “a sad cavalcade of itself and deranged petulance.”

Karl also asked Schiff about how Democrats should respond to the president as a party. ABC News presenter specifically referred to the Democratic strategist James Carville, who suggested the game “Play Dead” and make a Strategic political retreat.
Schiff said he did not agree and added that the Democrats needed their “broad and bold agenda to improve the economic well -being of Americans.”
“We need to advance policies and make arguments about what we have to offer, not simply go back and let them collapse under their own corrupt weight. For me, that is not enough. We need to use litigation as we are. We need to effectively use communication to speak with new people in new ways as we are,” he said.

“He threw a terrible claim after another, but don’t worry: Democrats are preparing to defend themselves with their little shovels,” Colbert said in “The Late Show” after Trump’s speech.
Colbert lifted his own palette that said: “Try to do something.”
