How to Prepare for Our Summer Challenge


ours Summer Shape Up Challenge it’s coming! Are you ready to get fit, build confidence and feel great in 6 weeks!?

We’ve put together a list of 10 things to do beforehand We will start on July 8 so you can feel prepared and have all the tips to be successful this summer!

Pre-summer fitness checklist:

1. Bikini Body Detox Meal Plan

On July 7th, the day before SSU starts, join us for the Bikini Body Detox Plan to detox your body and get ready to crush your fitness goals! You get this plan for FREE when you sign up here.

2. Preparing lunch

One of the keys to success in the challenge is meal preparation. Take some time to plan your meals for the week so you can stay on track with your nutrition goals.

This makes it much easier to eat healthy throughout the week without mixing and grabbing unhealthy meals and snacks.

3. Take your before pictures

Taking pictures before is key to track your progress + be eligible for the Grand Prize!

Hold up your SSU 2024 badge (in the SSU Playbook) to check the actual “before” photo for this challenge!

Things to do:

  • Bright and natural light

  • Tight clothing/sports bra and shorts

  • Vertical and full body

  • Front, side, back

  • A clear background (like a wall or a door)

  • Wear the same outfit before and after!

No:

  • Dark and shadowy light
  • Loose clothes
  • Messy background
  • Long Shots

4. Summer Shape Up Meal Plan

Make sure you take our Summer Shape Up Meal Plan so you can crush your nutrition goals + follow us for 6 weeks!

5. Download Move

6. Set clear goals

Define your goals for SSU. Whether it’s losing weight, building muscle, or improving endurance, setting clear goals will help you stay focused and motivated.

7. Take notes to track progress

Record your weight and measurements before starting SSU. This will be the place to track your progress + celebrate your achievements at the end of Summer Shape Up.

8. Join an Accountability Group

We believe that Accountability Groups are a key factor in keeping you motivated throughout your fitness journey. With Summer Shape Up coming up, we want to make sure you have all the tools you need to be successful, so we want to help you create them! Check the message @teamlsf how to join a group!

9. Plan your training time

Block out time in your calendar or planner for your workouts. Make it a priority by planning ahead and treating it like any other important appointment!

10. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

Don’t forget to drink plenty of water throughout the challenge. Staying hydrated is essential for overall health, energy levels and recovery after workouts. You can also make drinking water more fun by adding a little ball South Woman or Natural Beauty😉
