Ukraine has agreed to high the immediate fire of 30 days negotiated by the United States if Russia Accept the plan, authorities said on Tuesday.
“Ukraine is ready to start talking and stop shooting,” said the Secretary of State Marco Rubio In Jedda, Saudi Arabia.
As part of the plan, the United States immediately raised its pause to share intelligence with Ukraine, and will resume security assistance to that country.
The agreement occurred after more than seven hours of negotiations on Tuesday in Jedda between high -level US and Ukrainian delegations.
“Today, we made an offer that the Ukrainians have accepted, which is to enter a high fire and immediate negotiations to end this conflict in a lasting and sustainable way and explain their interests, their safety, their ability to prosper as a nation,” Rubio said.
“And I hope we take this offer to the Russians now, and we hope they say yes, they say yes to peace,” said Rubio. “The ball is now on its court.”
