‘Big Win’: Trump promotes the passage of the Federal Federal Financing Bill in the Chamber

President Donald Trump He promoted the approval of the Chamber of a financing bill to keep the government in operation, labeling it as a “great victory” for the United States.

The house passed the financing measure by a margin from 217 to 213 on Tuesday night, mainly in the party lines. The legislation is now addressed to the Senate, where legislators must approve the measure before Friday or face a partial closure of the government.

“Great victory for Republicans and the United States tonight,” Trump said in a real social position on Tuesday night. “Congratulations to all!”

The White House referred to Fox News Digital’s Post when asked for additional comments.

The financing bill extends largely the financing levels approved during fiscal year 2024 as part of the continuous resolution (CR) of the Chamber until September 30.

However, there are some financing changes included in the resolution, including an additional defense expenditure of $ 8 billion, $ 6 billion in medical veterans and almost $ 1 billion to support deportations for immigration and customs application (ICE). The measure also cuts $ 13 billion in non -defensive expenses.

The representative Thomas Massie, a republican of R-KK, broke with the Republicans and voted against the measure on Tuesday night, while the representative Jared Golden, D-Maine, also separated from his party and voted in favor of the measure.

Meanwhile, Senator Rand Paul, Republican of R-KK, has said he plans to vote against the measure in the Senate because he states that he does not do enough to stop government spending. As a result, the bill will require the support of at least eight democrats to approve the 60 -vot threshold.

“He is encouraging all Republicans to vote yes in this clean CR, which freezes funds at the current levels and will prevent Democrats from obtaining their long -awaited government closure,” Leavitt said Tuesday. “Voting against this CR will damage the American people and kill the incredible impulse that President Trump has built in the last 51 days.”

The Chamber Rules Committee approved the legislation on Monday night.
