As for Frederics, Tan said she admired her strong sense of humor and passion for film and music.
“He was so interested in so many topics,” she said. “He would like to talk about something.” Mostly movie and music … but his body wouldn’t allow him to do so much. So it was really painful to watch because he tried the best. ”
According to the director, there were moments when the royal “could not even get up alone”.
“I think the situation is very serious, but it would always maintain its dignity in all situations and maintain a sense of humor,” she added.
Tan said it was a “learning curve” that was educated about Polg after Frederik’s mother Julie approached the production society with which she works to help revitalize the film.
“In a sense, it was good because I could really stand up to someone who knew nothing about this disease, which would be in the case of most people watching the movie,” Tan said. “I think it’s a kind of lesson, you know.” Sometimes you consider your life again when you see people that they have it so bad, their days count and still find a way to be inspiring, be positive and do the best. ”
