The passengers were evacuated from an American Airlines flight after the plane caught fire at Denver International Airport on Thursday.
The images show smoke undulating the aircraft and the passengers standing on the wing of the plane.
There were no reports of serious injuries, although the airport later confirmed that 12 people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The flight took off from the near Colorado Springs and was heading to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas, FAA said in a statement to the BBC.
The plane deviled at Denver around 17:15 local time (23:15 GMT) after the crew reported “Motor vibrations,” said the FAA.
