First in Fox: China could face An offensive in its influence in the USA. On multiple fronts if a list of new specific bills is approved.
Senator James Lankford, R-OKLA., Led the introduction of three bills aimed at curbing Chinese influence this week. The measures specifically take measures in the acquisition of the US farmland, their predatory investment and their connections with the US educational institutions.
“China continues to buy American agricultural land, steal our patents and expand its vision of the authoritarian world,” Lankford told Fox Digital. “The United States will demonstrate our values to the world and maintain our economic and military force to ensure that the world has the best opportunity for freedom. Nobody in China should doubt the United States’s resolution and commitment to freedom.”

The adverse and malicious associations of counteracting in the Law of Universities and Schools (Campus) would prohibit joint research between American universities and those in China connected to their military funds and prevent federal funds to go to schools that are associated with entities linked to it.
The next bill, known as the Belt & Road Supervision Law, is designed to monitor China Predator Loan practices and counteract any economic coercion. The measure would establish officers in all world embassies that would be in charge of tracking their investments in critical infrastructure.

The third bill would monitor any purchase of US agricultural lands that can represent a national security threat. Appointed the Law on the Security and Supervision of the International Lands Law (Sol), the measure specifically prohibits any federal assistance for certain real estate holdings that are owned by foreign entities and expands the dissemination requirements for land purchases made by said entities.

The bills aimed at China’s influence occur after the country remained recent Nuclear conversations with Russia and Iran In Beijing.
