The Vikings have an opening for a veteran field marshal after last year’s starter, Sam Darnold, signed with him Seattle Seahawks. However, Minnesota also has the former Michigan JJ McCarthy national champion, the team’s first round of the team in the 2024 Draft.
Rodgers, at 41, is not considered a long -term solution for any team.
Famous NFL agent Leigh Steinberg, who has negotiated contracts for multiple field marshal of the Hall of Fame, told Fox News Digital to imagine Minnesota as a “positive adjustment” for Rodgers at this stage of his career, especially due to the presence of McCarthy as a possible protected and the team is suitable to win in the short term.
“Then, you must have a situation in which Aaron at best may play another year, maybe play another two years, but it is not a permanent solution, so it is a solution of one or two years,” said Steinberg. “Then, I could go to a team that is really good, but only needs that last piece to put them at the top, and could mentor a younger field marshal.”
Brett Favre implores Aaron Rodgers who firm with a specific team: ‘Good place to win’

Steinberg also believes that a team without the opportunity to win in the short term without the young field marshal on his list not adjusting so well. Giants are a team that fits that molding. Steelers may have had a winning record last season, but they are not a drown-in to be good this year. Nor do they have a young project field marshal.
“A team that is really dissatisfied with its field marshal that wears it would not be as positive as a solution,” said Steinberg.
If Rodgers ends up receiving an offer from the Vikings and signing with them, he would follow a professional career almost identical to that of his predecessor of Green Bay Packer, Brett Favre. Like Favre, Rodgers played the vast majority of his career with the Packers, winning a Super Bowl before being changed to New York Jets. Favre then spent his last two years in the Vikings.

Favre offered Rodgers advice and encouraged him to sign with the Vikings during an interview on Tuesday “The Will Cain Show” by Fox News Channel.
“Of course, firm with them,” said Favre. “They obtained a very good football team. They are charged in almost all positions. They arrived at the playoffs last year. They obtained a tremendous base of admirers, just like the Packers. If you have the opportunity, that is a good place to win.
“Of course, you have to play the Packers then.”
