A key witness in the case of missing Pittsburgh University The student Sudiksha Konanki has the support of her community, according to a statement published by Friends of her family on Sunday night.

The friends who wrote the statement urged the public to respect the privacy of the Riibe family “during this difficult time of uncertainty.”
“While Josh focuses on his efforts to help find Sudiksha Konanki, his family at home is providing support to his loved ones in the Dominican Republic. Help us to respect those priorities,” the statement concluded.
