During his first year presenting “Wheel of Fortune”, Ryan Seacrest It has quite a goal for 2025.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, the veteran television host, who took Pat Sajak’s Hosting Duties on “WoF” alongside Vanna White in September, he opened up about his hopes for next year’s episodes.
“I’m always impressed and grateful for what the show has meant to me before I even started working there and what it means to so many people and generations across the country,” the “American Idol” host said while attending the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on December 6 at the Intuit Dome. “I love giving away money. I get very excited when people win the money, and they win a lot of money. I hope to give away a million dollars in 2025.”

In June 2023, Sajak announced that he would be leaving the show. A week later, it was announced that Seacrest would be taking over as host in season 42.
After Sajak’s final episode aired earlier this year, Seacrest decided social networks to say goodbye to the longtime host.
“Pat, congratulations on an incredible run with Wheel of Fortune! Your dedication, charm and wit have made the show a beloved part of American television for decades,” he wrote on Instagram along with a photo of himself, Sajak and White. “His partnership with Vanna has been nothing short of iconic and together they have created countless wonderful memories for viewers. They have set the standard for presenters around the world and this marks the end of an era. Best wishes for all your future. efforts!”

During Sajak’s final episode, which was taped in April, Sajak delivered a emotional farewell speech.
“Well, it’s time to say goodbye,” he said. “I have a few thanks and acknowledgments before I go, and I want to start with everyone who’s watching. It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade.”
“I always felt that with privilege came responsibility to maintain this daily half hour as a safe place for family fun,” Sajak continued. “No social problems, no politics, nothing embarrassing, I hope, just a game.”

“But gradually it became something more than that,” he added. “A place where children learned their letters, where people from other countries honed their English skills, where families gathered together with friends and neighbors, and entire generations.”
“What an honor to play even a small role in all of this,” Sajak concluded. “Thank you for allowing me into your lives.”

Before his debut, brand expert Eric Schiffer He exclusively told Fox News Digital that “Wheel” viewers are in good hands with Seacrest and his media mastermind.

“A lot of people are wondering, ‘Can he make it? Will he make it? Will he turn off the audience?'” Schiffer said. “Ryan has a sixth sense of how to make adjustments, and the adjustment here is to tone down the energy until he builds trust with the audience. So, I think he can use some of the techniques he mastered on ‘Idol’ to increase participation and grow the audience.
“It’s largely a passive show, compared to ‘American Idol’ where there is much more interaction. “They have to bill younger audiences.”
“I think Ryan’s challenge will be to build enough trust in the early stages so that he can bring all his magic to grow the brand and grow the audience without losing legacy followers, and that will depend on trust and him feeling comfortable ” Schiffer said. “The star remains the game itself.”
