In December 2024 Instagram summary of photos from brother James DuggarJill, 33, was seen sitting next to her husband, Derick Dillardon a brown sectional couch. The couple, who married in 2014, appear to have spoken to Jim Bob, 59. Jill and Dillard’s three sons — Israel, Samuel and Freddie — also lounged on the same couch during the gift-giving.
Jill is one of 19 children of Jim Bob and his wife, Michelle Duggar. The Counting on the matriarch and patriarch also celebrated Christmas with the children Jessa, Jedidiah, John-David, Jeremiah, Jason and others.

“May you feel that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is very close this holiday season,” she wrote via the medium Instagram December 26, 2024. “Over the past few days (and more to come!) we have celebrated some birthdays and the birth of our Savior at home together and with family, friends and relatives at church.”
After leaving TLC, Jill and Dillard decided to take a step back from their family Counting on in 2017 but we are currently working on a relationship.
“I feel like we are now in the rebuilding phase with healthy boundaries still in place,” Jill shared via her Instagram story in November 2024. “We try to get together whenever it works out well and we have enough bandwidth to move things along.”
Almost a year ago, Jill said she hadn’t seen her parents in a while.
Ever since 19 Kids and Counting launched Jill Duggar into the spotlight, she’s had a lot of ups and downs with her parents and siblings. Fans first met the Duggars in 2008 when their TLC reality series, originally titled 17 Kids and Counting, premiered. “I hear you do (read my Cost calculation memoir),” she said on the “Unplanned” podcast in January 2024, referring to her autobiography, which came out in September 2023. “I heard they were listening to it on audiobook or something. I don’t know. … They are my parents and I will tread lightly.”
According to Jill, she does did not want to “create more controversy” with her extended family.
“It’s kind of like when you get together for the holidays and there’s certain things you don’t want to, like, you just don’t want to bring up,” she explained. “It’s probably a sore subject. … It’s not exactly the healthiest way to go about it. So we’re still on the road to sort things out.”
Since then, Jill has been spotted at various family gatherings with his mother and sisters, most of whom also still live in Arkansas. Jill and Dillard even traveled to Nebraska and Tennessee last year for respective weddings siblings Jana34 a Jason24.
