These MagSafe headphones clip onto the back of your iPhone

We’ve seen a handful of AirPods charging iPhone battery cases come and go over the years. Artronic the new earbuds take a different approach with a slim charging case that attaches directly to the back of MagSafe-compatible phones.

The Komutr Buds were announced on Friday, just days before their CES 2025 debut. In a sea of ​​fully wireless headphones, the 0.47-inch charging case is a real standout. Unlike other categories, these buds won’t actually charge the phone – it’s all about the convenience of having them on your phone all the time.

The case is equipped with a flip-flop that allows the buds to be removed while still attached to the phone. The cover also acts as a stand for watching videos. The buds themselves are rated at up to 10 hours of battery life, and triple that when work is factored in.

The company says there will also be “adjustable options for smartphones without MagSafe capabilities,” but where’s the fun in that? Pre-orders open on January 15th, and the buds start shipping in May, priced at $129.
