Laverne Cox is moving away from red carpet coverage E! before Golden Globes 2025.
“It is with an incredible amount of gratitude that I have decided not to return as a red carpet host of #LiveFromE,” Cox, 52, wrote Instagram on Thursday, January 2. “I am so incredibly proud of the work we have done during my three-year tenure. I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone at @nbcuniversal, @eentertainment and @denofthievestv for your incredible support.”
In his post, Orange is the new black the actress shared a video montage of clips of her one-on-one interviews from the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and other award shows.
“These moments are a reminder to me of what an incredible privilege it has been to talk to some of the world’s greatest artists about their work, dealing with the pressures of success, etc.,” she said. “I am so excited to continue to grow, develop and discover great opportunities as an actress, artist, presenter and speaker. I hope you will all continue with me on my unfolding journey.”
Cox added that her next role will be in an Amazon Prime comedy series Clean Slate premiering on February 6.
