Sale of the city‘with Jade Chan threatened to sue Netflix while filming series finale — but is that still the plan?
“No, I’m not taking legal action,” Jade said exclusively My Weekly before Sale of the cityPremiere on Friday, January 3. “I want (actually want) to thank the producers for their beautiful way of still telling this story and still showing the spice that was in that hot moment.”
Jade was grateful for the explosive final moments of Season 1 she kept showing her gaze.
“They were very considerate in knowing what was right and wrong in terms of (what to include). Because there was much more to that scene than just the one minute that is shown. So I appreciate and respect them,” she continued. “That’s really where my comments came from. Because from both sides – from Abigail (Godfrey) and myself – there were things that were said below the belt that I would never want to show to the whole world.’
Sale of the citywhich comes from Sunset for sale creator Adam DiVellofollows Eleonora Srugová‘with real estate group at Douglas Elliman which consists of Jade, Abi, Jordyn Taylor Braff, Taylor Middleton, Gisselle Meneses Nunez and Justin Tuinstra. (The former Million Dollar New York Stock Exchange‘with Steve Goldwho currently works for The Corcoran Group also appears throughout the season.)
Jade started the season well with Eleanor – but not with Abi. Things between Jade and Eleonora, 37, took a hit after Jade’s dark comments they were brought up. Although they were able to resolve it by the end of the season, Abi felt that Jade made certain remarks about others without being held accountable.
“Jade is running away (from the interview). I want to look her in the eye and know what kind of person she is. You are my family and anyone who is with our family will get angry. I don’t want to disturb a friend of decades, okay?” Abi said during the finale. “That is fictitious manipulation. If he doesn’t (admit it), he’ll look like the biggest moron.”
Nephrite he refused to talk to Abi on the screen. “I don’t want to do it. Get it off me,” she told the producer. “You are pathetic. I’m not talking like a 12 year old. You don’t know me. F – this. No.”
As the conversation got more tense, Jade he shot back at Abiand called her “disgusting” off camera.
“I’m not doing this. If any of the damn king airs, I’m going to sue every single one of your asses,” Jade continued. “I’m a grown woman with a real career. This camera should get out of my f-king face. I’m not a microphone. i’m done I’m not a microphone. F— you, Netflix. F – Netflix. F— everyone.”
Jade said Our that the moment had been building up all season, adding, “I hold everything in until it’s time to explode — and that’s exactly what happened. Obviously we’ve been filming the finale so we’re 12 weeks deep and there’s been a lot. There was a lot to unpack and I could see red.’
Realtor she wasn’t thrilled with her personal comments were broadcast.
“They shouted at me and the things they said to me were things that came from Eleanor. At the end of the day, the things that were said were confidential and I felt betrayed, which is why I came to Eleanor,” Jade explained. “I tried to keep calm. And she kept coming for me.”
But now Jade holds no grudges towards her fellow citizens. “(Eleonora) is going through the process of overcoming my truth that was told in the show. I’m fine. It happened to me too, but I really believe that I was completely authentic with myself,” she said Our. “And we can do it. I have no hard feelings about her revealing things about me and throwing me under the bus. Everything is good. I personally do not take offense because I am confident in who I am and my authenticity. We’ll get through it.”
